Nick Nanton and the DNA Films team were the recipients of nine Emmys at The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Emmy Awards in the Suncoast Region.
Orlando, Fl. December 4, 2018: Multiple Emmy Award-Winning Director Nick Nanton and his team at DNA Films were honored with nine wins at the recent Suncoast Emmy Awards.
DNA Films won awards for their documentary films Rudy Ruettiger: The Walk On which tells the true story of how Rudy got into and playing for Notre Dame despite dozens of rejections. They also won for A New Leash on Life: The K9s for Warriors Story which tells the story of how K9s for Warriors is helping combat vets reclaim their lives through close interactions with service dogs. In addition, the advanced leadership experience film Downrange won an Emmy for Human Interest Program Feature/Segment.

Nick Nanton took home three Emmys for directing Rudy Ruettiger: The Walk On, Game Changer: The Dan Sullivan Story and A New Leash on Life: The K9s for Warriors Story.
K9’s also received an award for editing. Rounding out the wins were Emmys for photography for both A New Leash on Life: The K9s for Warriors Story and Downrange.
